Lord, I bless Your name. I am thankful because You are a loving God. Your love never fails, never gives up and never ever runs out. I praise Your name for You are the God who never fails to show His love to all His people. You are magnificent and wonderful. You never withhold such unconditional love to anyone.
Today, I am reminded of Your character. You are love. You have forgiven all my sins and healed all my diseases. You have kept me from the grave and blessed me with love and mercy. You fill my life with good things so that I stay young and strong like an eagle. You guide all my steps so that I live in the security of your will.
You are the God who is merciful and loving; slow to become angry and filled with constant love. You do not keep on rebuking. You are not angry forever. You did not punish me as I deserve or repaid me according to my sins and wrongdoings. As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is Your love for those who honor You. As far as the east is from the west, so far do You remove my sins.
God, with such a great love, I commit to love You with all my heart, soul and strength. I pray that my heart will overflow with such kind of love to share with other people. May this kind of love be the only form of love that I would know and share. You know my heart. Take away any form of selfishness in me. Purify my heart and help me love with the love of Christ.
Lord, You loved me first. And I know that I would only be able to love because You’ve first showed me how. Grant me the heart to love fully and to never turn away even if this love hurts me. Thank You for all Your sacrifices to bring forth salvation. Your love overcame the cross. I praise You for all that You are and all that You did to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
