Dear Lord, lately I’ve been too obsessed with building my spiritual portfolio – traveling on mission trips and donating to charity. All of these things are desirable. But am I establishing character to impress you or am I cultivating a reputation to captivate others? Make me aware of any method that resembles self-promotion (and assist me in avoiding it). I want to be a part of something big, even if it means remaining invisible to all except you. Amen
