Father, I’ve squandered years of my life acting on instinct rather than intentions. But today is a gift from You, and I’m not going to waste it. While the rest of the world is sleeping, I will go out of my way to find You. While others go about their days carelessly, I shall be aware of Your presence. When others are exhausted and fall asleep, I shall rest in You. Amen
