My ever-listening God, I enjoy our moments of unhurried intimacy. I relish the time spent in Your presence with no agenda but togetherness. But I also know there will be urgent moments embedded in the day before me. Allow for the experience of intimacy even then. Remind me of Your presence amid the urgencies and emergencies of the day. As I merge into the left lane of life, may I sense You always at my right hand, ready to listen and help.
