My Father in heaven, Creator of all that exists. You are the beginning and the end. You are Lord and is sovereign over all. You hold everything in Your hands. You command with Your word and it is so. We are grateful to be reminded of Your greatness. We are in awe to have known Your magnificent character. And we are privileged that You are a Father and a Friend to us.
Lord, You alone have control over everything. Thank You for reminding us today that we should not worry. You know the exact condition of our hearts as well as the anxious thoughts that have caused us burden.
Thank You for giving us great assurance that You care for us. You care for us as a Father would care for His children. You never fail to remind us that Your promise is the same yesterday, today or forever. You said that You will never leave us nor forsake us. And we choose to believe this truth over and over again. You are true to Your words. You are not a man that You should lie nor a son of man that You should change Your mind.
Guard our minds, Lord. The battle is real. The enemy is constantly at work spreading lies, deception and discouragements. Grant us strength and power to renounce all these deceptions. Deepen our faith in You. May we not allow our hearts to be troubled and may we not be afraid of the future.
May we rest in the security that You alone gives. May we not waver through unbelief but remain standing firmly in the grace that You provide. May we always depend on You on small things and big things alike. May we remain faithful in following You. Encourage us with Your promises. We believe that those who trust in You will never be shaken. This is our confidence in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
