| Almighty Father, we thank You for the national leaders You have put in their places. Continue to lead them as they determine how to best govern every nation in this time of great uncertainty. Teach us how to become united so that partisanship takes a back seat. Tap into their expertise while guiding their minds and their hearts as they search for ways to effectively battle the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Reveal to them options to curb panic and help protect the financial, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of the public. Source of healing, cast the blessing of health on those who’ve been exposed to coronavirus, and those who have contracted the disease. Bless, protect, and bring them speedily to full recovery. Take notice of all who are ill, and provide them with healing of body, soul, and of spirit. May it be Your will, our God, that we go in peace, and return in peace, safe from any harms of travel. May it be the enemies, ambushes, wild beasts, and exposure to pandemic. Grant us grace in Your eyes, and in the eyes of all whom we meet. God of wisdom, bless the medical scientists and researchers in every nation with insight and skills, dedication, and fortitude, as they attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus, so that their work may speedily find vaccine, treatments and deterrents. Source of life, grant public health and government officials the strength to act swiftly and decisively, with compassion and understanding, in service to humankind. Fighting this outbreak, and the other diseases that still plague the planet, diseases threatening the lives of our brothers and sisters, nations and communities, young and old.
