Dear God, I come before Your throne of grace and mercy to praise You for being the author and finisher of my faith, and for all You have done in my life. Lord, sometimes my life does not go according to my plans. There are twists and turns, valley and mountains along the way that make me feel discouraged. Help me to trust in You, God, for Your plans are always good for me. You alone truly knows what I’m going through.
Almighty Father, I sincerely pray that You bring humility into my life. Fill me not with pride, discontentment, jealousy, and arrogance toward the people around me. Let my heart be saturated with Your love, peace, and joy for my fellow men. May I not question my destiny for everything that happens to me contribute to how You want to mold me. I believe that these experiences make me stronger, better, and wise person.
Teach me how to be kind and gentle, generous and forgiving, just as Jesus did. I declare that the enemy who allows pride to get better of me will be cast out. Mold me into a better person daily, God, as You walk beside me through life’s journey. Shape me into who I am meant to be. May my accomplishments cause me to become wiser but not arrogant.
I give You praise for my past and for my future. I am confident that only You know what the future holds. You make all things happen for a reason, turning them all together for my good. I praise You in the present situation, whether good or bad. For I put my faith and trust in You always to work every situation out for me, for it is all a part of my destiny, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
